In the case of corporate agreements, we offer a discount on the gross ticket price of some of our performances.

Wheelchair users can request free tickets in advance (at the latest one day before the performance), up to the number of seats reserved for them, at the ticket office or by calling (+36-1) 434 59 00 or (+36-80) 10 44 55.

Wheelchair tickets can be collected in person at the ticket office of the National Dance Theatre before the performance.

Extra seats:

Please note that we sell extra seats in case of a high demand on some of our performances, but only if no more places are available for sale for the given performance.
The extra seats are placed in front of the first row of the auditorium. The placed extra row does not interfere with the theatre experience of those sitting in the front row.

Gift vouchers:

The vouchers are valid for the performances of the National Dance Theatre and can be redeemed for the tickets and season tickets sold in the ticket system, subject to availability. They are valid until 31 December 2026. 

Information on redemption:

• Gift vouchers can be redeemed at the ticket offices of the National Dance Theatre and also online.
• Gift vouchers do not entitle to automatic entry.
• The gift voucher is not personal, it is transferable but not refundable. The gift voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.

Redeeming in the ticket office:

Please print your voucher purchased online. Several gift vouchers can be used during one purchase. If the value of the purchase is less than the value of the voucher, we cannot refund the difference. If the value of the purchase is higher, other means of payment can be used to top up the purchase.

If redeemed online:

The amount of the voucher will reduce the value of the basket if you enter the code of the voucher in the "Gift voucher" field in the basket. Several gift vouchers can be used during one purchase. We cannot refund the difference if the value of the purchase is less than the value of the voucher. If the value of the purchase is higher, other means of payment can be used to top up the purchase.

Demand-based, dynamic pricing

Dynamic ticket pricing previously became known in connection with airline tickets, but innovation has also extended it to the cultural sector. Today, this technology is successfully used by international institutions such as the Metropolitan Opera, New York's Broadway theatres, and by more and more cultural institutions also in Hungary.
Dynamic, or demand-based pricing is a special pricing technology where the price is constantly being revised depending on the relationship between supply and demand. Therefore, the dynamically formed prices can change over time. This means that the pricing engine used by the National Dance Theatre calculates and reviews the current price of the tickets for the given performance several times a day, according to the supply and demand related to the given performance.
The National Dance Theatre uses dynamic pricing for the sale of some of its performances, which is always indicated next to the given performance. This innovative technology gives customers the benefit of longer ticket availability for popular performances and allows some performances to reach a wider audience.

Payment Methods

At our ticket office, you can pay in cash, by bank card, or with a SZÉP card (OTP, MBH, K&H). Additionally, you can pay online using a SZÉP card through our ticket purchasing platform.

Hungary Card Discount

Enjoy a 40% discount for two persons on one occasion, followed by a 20% discount for two persons on subsequent purchases. These discounts are available when purchasing tickets in person at the National Dance Theatre ticket office. Discounts provided by HungaryCard365 cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts.

The discount applies regardless of your payment method. It can be used when paying in cash, by bank card, or with a SZÉP card.
